Refresh yourself to be centered and calm with 10 minutes of total relaxation.
Take a break to tune into yourself with Savasana, corpse pose for 10 minutes. Regardless of your yoga experience, everyone can do this pose and if you don't have a yoga mat you can simply do this on the floor. In a quiet space (turn off your phone and any distractions) you might prefer to set some sort of soft timer.
Lie on your back on the mat (or on the floor). Spread your legs comfortably slightly apart from each other and let your feet fall open. Place an eye pillow (or you can use a towel) over your eyes which will help quiet the mind and draw your attention inward. Cover yourself with a blanket to keep comfortably warm and cozy. Place your arms away from your body with palms facing upward and fingers naturally curled. Breathing slowly, softly and deeply, allow your exhale to calm you into relaxation. With your breaths surrender and let go. Let your mind be still.
After 10 minutes take your time to bring yourself back to awareness of your body and the environment by gently wiggling your fingers and toes, slowly remove your eye pillow and softly open your eyes. Give yourself some love with a hug by bringing your knees to your chest and wrapping your arms around them with a little squeeze, then slowly turn over onto your right side and rest for a couple soft breaths. Slowly return back up to seated position.
Be Calm. Be Happy.
